Founder & Director

Rosie holds a Master's in Health Sciences Management and has spent years working with children of all abilities. She founded BARC because she saw a gap — there was no place in Carmel where kids with diverse needs could just be kids, play, create art, and make friends in a space built for them.

Common Questions

Can I stay with my child during sessions?
Yes! Parents are always welcome to stay on-site. We encourage it especially for younger children or first visits.
Can I drop off my child?
Drop-off is available for children who meet age and readiness guidelines (typically 5+). We'll let you know what works best for your child.
Is this only for kids with special needs?
No! Every child is welcome. We designed our space and programs to be sensory-friendly and inclusive, which means kids of all abilities thrive here.
Are you a therapy provider?
No. We're a recreational center — think art, dance, slime & play, not clinical services. Many families use us alongside therapy as the fun part of their week.
Are children supervised the entire time?
Yes. All children are supervised at all times. Our instructors maintain safe ratios and follow strict safety protocols throughout every session.
What do I need before the first session?
Create a free account and sign the Participation Waiver online. Also share any medical conditions, allergies, or sensory needs so we can best support your child.
What's the difference between summer camp and lessons?
Summer camp runs 10 weeks from May 25 through July 31. Early Bird pricing (through May 16): Half-day $120/week, Full-day $200/week. After that, regular rates are $180 and $300/week. Year-round lessons let you drop in ($15), go weekly ($60 for 5 sessions), or monthly ($180 for 20 sessions) for specific activities like dance, art, or sensory play.
